All system full steam ahead!
Welcome to the easiest way to get dvdid.xml files for Windows Media Center. The goal was to provide a simple and quick interface. Hopefully that has been achieved.
The search above is a combo tool that will submit new movies and find old ones. Any new dvdIDs searched for will be added automatically to the database.

Anyway you could open this up for a webservice to hit it so as to make the update automatic? That way a service could run and ping your database and grab what it needs?
It is an awesome site and I love - thanks for the service (even if I have to do it manually for now).
Great site, but I want to regional film info. Such as your version of Tropic Thunder is for spain, but I'm in the UK.
Ahh forgot to fix the xml grabber - should be working now!
Sorry it is not the search, that works fine, it is when i try to donload an xml file. I get the same thing hapHazzaed gets.
The site looks great but I can't download anything. Keep getting this error : Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql50-23.wc1' (1) in /home/mcedvd/public_html/xml.php on line 13
Could not connect: Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql50-23.wc1' (1)
Hmm search works fine for me - just moved hosts so DNS may still be updating - if you continue to have issues let us know at contact@mcedvd.com
This site is Awesome. The search seems to be down. I keep getting an error about not being able to find the mysql.
Groovy site! Thanks!
Just sent in Step Brothers and X-Files II.
Didn't realize their were any 1 letter titles =P Single character searching now works.
One minor flaw - you can't search with less than 2 characters, making it impossible to search for for example "V":
